Well this old trailer made it to Idaho, Montana and Wyoming,,, (and back) 2340 miles. In Idaho, everybody waved. In WA, and Montana, they usually just tried to just get by as quickly as possible. Didn't encounter any weld inspectors.
Here's a nice place we camped a couple nights, on the North Fork St Joe River near Avery, ID. Google map (exact!) It was a tight little 4WD road getting in, was glad for the small trailer size. In Idaho there were campers at every site, they are OUTDOOR people! Also you had to look hard for even a scrap of trash at any Idaho campsite. They take care of their state. The water was so clear here you could see every rock on the bottom. Lots of fish jumping but they apparently didn't like flys.
Just for completeness, here's the hitch 2340 miles later,,,,, Jack moved rearward so I could open the tailgate, and propane tank mounting.
