For what its worth I'm not all that impressed with the IT manual I got for my Ford 1710. If you are very familiar with tractors and just need specifics then is OK. sorta. There is no substitute for a OEM factory manual which goes into much better detail. Had I know the difference I'd have got the factory one, worth the extra money in my book.

I bought the I&T manual for my 1310 and found it to have most of the info I was looking for. I don't know if I would say it's 100% accurate, but very close. I also bought an operators manual here: NH Tech Publications which is very useful. This site also has shop manuals but they run in excess of $100.00.

Bedlam - I don't know much about the other manufacturers O.E.M manuals but Mahindra has them available to their dealers in paper and CD"s. Obviously, the paper manuals with binders are expensive to produce but the CD's are identical in info. I talked to my dealer and he allowed me to copy the CD's. If I need part numbers, teardown and replacemnt proceedures, I can look it up on the CD and either print the pages I need or commit it to short term memory. I guess it might be copyright infringement but I don't really care for something only I will be using. It never hurts to ask or try. Best of luck - Clyde

The manuals I got for my 1900 are from jen sales. It seems like 1/2 of the information I need I have to come here to get. Thank god for TBN and the members who take thim to answer our questions. I'm going to order the manuals that are still avalable from ford and hope they are alot better.

One thing I've found, the I&T manuals use the oem shop manuals for reference.. the bigger the oem shop manual.. the better the I&T. On that note.. the I&T manual for my 8n is awesome.. the I&T manual for my NAA is so-so.. and as I said.. some o fthe others are inbetween.. My IH cub and allis chalmers I&T manuals were decent. JD was better than nothing.
