It would last a very long time if it weren't for snow removal. The dirt work didn't have much of an impact on it. A couple of winters of clearing snow from paved areas has caused a fair amount of wear on the bottom side of the leading edge. I have a habit of trying to get clean down to the blacktop and have often had the front wheels off the ground while scraping. It may only be another season away from having to flip it around or make another. I consider it a wear part to protect the factory cutting edge.

Back when we had a B7500 we had more dirt to dig, so I made a toothbar. It worked great for digging and the teeth were handy for keeping larger tree limbs and things from slipping off the bucket. For most things it got in the way. It was easy off and on so it worked OK.

Good idea making it reverse-able. Makes we wonder if the Pirhana could be made reverse-able. Probably would add to cost due to need to bolt on the end plates and make it less durable due to decreased cross section area.

I got a chance this evening to use the Pirhana bar on some hard packed dirt. It is definitely as advertised! Very happy with it!

That's less than it sounds.

I added topsoil to and leveled approximately 1 acre, used 550 yards of topsoil (approximately 1.1 million lbs) and I had all the spreading done from 18-22 yard dump truck piles in like 6 hours, with the old L3650. I found the box blade worked a lot better than using the skid loader.

That is not a lot of dirt. I spread 100 twenty ton loads of dirt with my tractor plus several hundred tons of gravel. The bucket still has most of the paint on it. I probably put about 20 hours on the tractor spreading the 100 loads of dirt.
