Sometimes they puts those things on there with loctite, or something similar. You may need to add a little heat then use some wrenches to get it off, but once you get it moving, you will have no problem using the hose you have. When you put our coupler on there, there is no need to tighten it down that hard. NPT is tapered so just getting it snug with a wrench is all you'll need to make a tight connection.

Those tips are put on by specially trained Gorillas. I'd suggest a good set of big vice grips with the curved jaws and maybe a pipe slipped over the end for leverage. Plus the Kroil.

I was able to put mine on with 9/16 and 11/16 open end wrenches last night. Easy off, but it didnt want to go on past 3 threads Lock n Lube that is.

Easier way if you are having issues with stock tip ( or don't want to fight) is getting a short high quality extension hose with a zerk. That way you put the look and live in the extension, and you have the standard coupler available for hard to reach recessed zerks. Btw the only seems I cannot service on my Kioti with locknlube with a solid extension gun are the ssqa lever zerks. I'm just doing graphite spray on those anyway, not convinced filling the cavity with sticky grease would be any better in a high sand/dirt environment.
