The battery in my 2000 Toyota Tundra which was bought new in October 1999 still has the original battery. That's 13 years and 8 months. My 1996 Toyota Avalon and my 1999 Toyota Camry had the original batteries go almost 10 years.
I am sorry but since when is an AC Delco battery OEM for a Toyota? Isn't AC Delco a GM company? I have never seen AC Delco in anything but a GM.

In all fairness... Mom did leave the dome light on all night when the battery was 6 years old... I caught heck for charging it when EVERYONE said just buy your Mom a new one after 6 years....
