Replaced fuel filter on MF 263 now it won't start.

For future reference, the bleed screw on the inj pump is next to the name plate..double screw.. 5/16 head into a 7/16 body.
Loosen the 5/16 and crank the engine until solid fuel is seen with no air and tighten.

The Newer Perkins to me with electric shut off self bleed thru inj pump. The lift pump does have a screen in it some are in the top if it has a single screw others are on intake line pull line then take out fitting small screen there.
If there is no shut off someone took it out they came with a shut off and a plastic screen on them.
The reason you have to turn it over a little it is on a cam so if on high side
Is already pushed all the way.
There is also a screen on the in of the injection pump. Also I turn the key on. when pump gets soft usually will start.
