Replacement blade part # for 48" PT4xx mower?

I'd like to get new ones but I keep forgetting to take the current ones off, measure them up, and search online. Has anyone already done this and can share a replacement blade part number? Thanks!

Mower Blade For Ariens 3027859, 30278

Try here...I used the blade part #(I think it's an Oregon blade?) for my 48" deck. Have not received them yet but it does match up. I'm going to keep these on for the lawn type work and use the old blades for brush cutting type work. Jacks Small Engines also sells these.

My 48" deck uses 16 1/4" x 2 1/2" blades, with a small center hole (less than 1/2"). I found the following, which is as close as I could get:

16-1/4 Standard Blade (Click for Compatibility) (Click - 91-379 by: Oregon - Mowpart.com - Lawn

There are several options from Oregon and Stens that are similar in size, shape, etc, but i settled on this one for various reasons. It has a 5/8" hole, but I think I can figure something out. I need to order them and come back and let you know how it works out.

I just have two sets of Power Trac blades for out 60" finish mower. I keep one sharp and one on the deck. Swap them out from time to time if I notice the cut is getting ragged. I also have an extra set of brush hog blades, bushings, wheel height spacers, oil filters, etc.... it is easy to get the $50.00 minimum order if you just get some spare parts with it. :laughing:

Blades arrived last night. They appear to be exact size as the original blades. Have some brush cutting to do today and then will swap out the "PT" blades for the replacements and will let you know how they do in the yard. The price was right 4 sure! 3 blades delivered to my door for $33.

Well I braved the heat and cut what grass needed it(most of it's going dormant from the heat and dry weather). Blades seem to be exact fit....went onto the deck just as the originals and no vibration when mowing. From what grass I could cut they seem to do the job just as the originals did. I would imagine the blades for the 60" deck would be available too as long as you have the Oregon blade# which should be right on the original blades.

If this weather continues I guess the blades will get a good rest!

When I ordered blades for my 60", PT sent Oregon 90-125 which fit perfectly. Tried to order from MOW PARTS they tell me they are discontinued. Ordered universal gater blades from them. I had to remove 2/10" from each side to make them fit. I did this with a jig I fabricated for the purpose to keep them in balance. They seem to cut better and run smoother.

Was the 3/4" hole an issue when mounting the blades? Thanks.

I received my blades on Friday, but I cleaned and repainted the underside of the deck this weekend and haven't tried them out. They are the same size as OEM, but a slightly different shape. I think it will end up cutting the grass about 1/4" taller or so. Not a big deal. The center hole was 5/8", but the stock hole was 3/8". I cut some spacers down to fill in the gap and they fit nicely. I had a hard time trying to find a blade with 3/8" hole.
