Hi All, I have to replace the bearings in the pictured 4-hole hub. Although it may be simpler to buy the whole new hub. A couple questions: Can anyone tell me if these bearings simply press in and out of the hub? I assume that's the case, but I've gotten myself into trouble many times before by assuming.
The actual bearing specs show them to be 0.61 inches thick (last stock photo). There are two bearings in the hub, with some sort of connector or spacer in between. Both bearings turn together. Or at least they did before I got a piece of plastic film wound up in them from my plastic mulch layer. Can anyone suggest a supplier for the entire hub? It is *not* a part from a specific machine, but from a lone 16 inch concave disc I use on a toolbar for creating a furrow. Or does anyone have experience pressing the old bearings out, and new ones in, in a similar situation? Thanks!
