I am pleasantly surprised that these CareFree's have lasted on the brush hog for so long.
Replacement DURABLE attachment caster wheels for T-8 series???

When I first got my 425 pt I got solid tires on the brush hog to start with and have never had a problem. I have them on my finish mower also and no problems there either. The ones that I got have a flat tread on them like the ones that Moss shows in his pictures, the solid tires with a rounded tread like a wheel borrow I was told would roll off the rim. My pt is a 2003 model.

Thanks everyone. I ordered a pair of those segmented tires/wheels from eBay. Will let you know my impressions, once they arrive and I put them into service...

Thought I'd report back.
I've been running the segmented tires/wheels on my brush hog for a few months now. I'm satisfied with them. They're tough, and have no visible signs of wear/tire. One note, though, is that they are so heavy that they do effect the "balance" of the mower when it is raised with the lift arms. They'll tip the front of the mower deck down, similar to how the balance of the finish mower is...
I also later ordered a pair of their finish mower style for my finish mower also. Again, satisfied with the quality. Now, the only original sawtooth tires are on my snow/dirt blade which gets little use, thank goodness...
