Replacement hood for a John Deere 4300 Tractor

I did a search on JD parts. It looks like the hood itself is interchangeable but the hardware/backets for mounting the hood to the tractor are completely different.

What's the deal with the hoods? Before I bought my new 2305 I looked at 1 used 4110 and a used 4300. Both had broken hoods. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Most likely culprit is a rock, or some thing heavy, rolling back out of the bucket onto the hood.
