Replacement Zerk

So tonight while greasing my FEL, the grease gun stuck to the Zerk and when I went to pull it off, the zerk snapped. It snapped clean off and left the threaded half still inside. Tomorrow, I'll need to go to the ranch store or somewhere to find something to back it out with.

Here's my question, once I get the zerk out, which was awfully cheap by the way, are these zerks universal or do I have to specifically find one for my tractor? If they are specific, I know I'm gonna have one heck of a time finding it for a Kubota 3700SU.

Bring the base in to match the threads, that is exactly what happened to me. Any auto parts store should have one.

The zerks are universal and metric if I remember right. I bought replacements at TSC. I bought an assortment pack in both metric and SAE just to make sure I had the right ones.

Check out your grease gun nozzle and see if it's adjustable like most of them are. You should be able to turn it counter clockwise to loosen it some to prevent this from happening again.
