I bought a replacement for the hydraulic cylinder that raises and lowers the snow thrower mounted on the front of my Kubota B3200. The cylinder has no fluid in it and the hydraulic lines from my tractor are only partially filled (fluid leaked when I removed the lines from the failed cylinder. My question: How do I go about placing fluid in the new cylinder and its two hoses and get rid of any air in the assembly? There is no purge valve on the cylinder and there is no obvious way to fill the cylinder except by pouring new fluid into the cylinder fittings before attaching the two hoses. Any recommendations?!
