Oil & Fuel Replacing Fuel Filter on a DK45

It's time to replace the fuel filter on the DK45. What tool did you use to remove the retaining ring that holds the clear fuel filter bowl? Thanks.

I probably have the same type ring as yours on the CK20. I just use large channel locks being careful not to damage the raised areas of the ring. The large pliers easily get the ring started, and then I can turn it off by hand. There are tools that have the cutouts for those raised areas, but I don't see a need to buy one as the channel locks work fine. John
