That's expensive. I replaced injectors on a Kubota D1105 not that long ago, they were £66 each. And a low pressure "lift pump" shouldn't be too pricey.
Is it difficult to work on, so it takes a lot of labour?
In principle I don't like swapping parts on the off-chance. But I wonder with the comments on this thread whether it would have been worth replacing the lift pump as a precaution with these sort of symptoms. Especially the comment that a weak or failing lift pump could take out the high-pressure injection pump.
