Replacing Radiator with "generic" one?

2009 Massey, 1528. The water pump failed causing the fan to change angles and tear into the radiator. Can't be repaired.

Contacted Massey dealer, replacement radiator is $750 or so, just crazy.

So can I find a similiar sized radiator and try to fab up some mounts? Anyone tried this?

Take it to a radiator shop and have them replace the core.

I have, I was told it's not possible due to the plastic tanks on it.

Yup.....can't replace core if you have plastic tanks.

Look for aftermarket, dealer usually want 2-3x after market price... IF you have part number it should b easy...

I have been looking everywhere, using any number I can find on the unit as well as the agco number for cross reference, haven't found a single thing.

Search for universal radiators and youll find a bunch. Or like others have said you can have a custom one built.
Summitracing.com has a large selection that you could look at.
