Replacing seal on Woods M5-4 Rotary Cutter

I needed to remove the blades and the Clamp Crossbar that the blades attach to. The parts had all been on since 1990. I was able to remove the Clamp crossbar by putting threaded 1" rod in the holes of the crossbar and using a 24" pipe wrench turn the nuts to push the part off the main shaft.

How was replacing the seal? I'm just about to do that and would love some advice
