One thing you may run into...
The dually pickup rear axle is often wider than the chassis/cab rear axle. This is to allow the inner wheels to fit the standard wheelwell in the bed. If you put a "standard" dump bed on, the wheels will stick out. Not a biggie, but a friend had one like this and it just kind of looks odd. Maybe there is a wider bed option available for the dump? Your local truck upfitter should be able to help.
