You are correct on the tire rim. My current front rim is 14" and the turf tires would require a 12" rim. The rears are both 16". This tractor would be used just for grass cutting and maybe other work once in a while. I used to keep this tractor at my camp in the mountains in north central Pennsylvania. I used it for everything. Grass cutting, backhoe work and FEL work. It was well set up for the 20 years I used it there but I sold the place last Spring and now I have it at home where we have about two acres of grass to cut. My wife uses a BX1860 and I use the B2710 but the B2710 with R4's is hard on the lawn. That's why I am thinking of putting the turf tires on it.
I see you have 14" front rims and 16" rear rims, I don't see where you have posted your current tire size.
The original data that I saw was for R1's a 7x12 front which has a width of 6.8" and a diameter of 24", with a rear of 12.4x16 which was a 12.4 width and a 37.7" diameter.
If you go to the Miller Tire website, between the lawn and garden tire and compact tractor tire listing there are several 24" tall tires with 12 or 14" rims.
As far as the rears you could go here Tire Size Comparison scroll down to wheel size click on 16's then scroll to your desired diameter and look for truck tires, they will work quite well as turf tires.
