Looks a lot like my Satoh and Mitsubishi tractors.

I have a 1100D and I added a temp gauge just above the light switch.( left side of dash) I kept the lights in the dash and still use the oil pressure light. I think gauges are the way to go. At least you can see the status of your tractor at any time. It is a tight fit, but not too bad. And....I could not remove my steering wheel so I did it with the dash in place.

Add the guage.....you may be glad you did....

You probably have a smaller dash in the 1300, but here is what I did with my 1500D. I had both the oil sender and temp go bad on me this past year so I went to gauges. I must say I am a gauge fan, if for no other reason than they will give you a heads up before you get into idiot light trouble. I did tilt the oil gauge so I would get a better view in the operational range from where my eyes sit.

Keep the "Idiot Lights" and just add gauges. If something happens you'll notice the "Idiot light first":D

And if really serious add an audible alarm to the "Idiot Gauge"
