Repo

Worst case scenario, Someone goes to prison for felony theft.

What is the worst case scenario if Kubota is not able to repo?
Hard times
COVID-19
Have you thought about selling it and pay it off. How long have you had it and what size is it. Have you had it long enough to have equity in it.

There’s dumb answers too.
You have no clue why Kubota is unable to repo because the OP never stated why.
Is he hiding it, or did he already do everything you suggested but for whatever reason Kubota can’t send someone? It’s not clear. You don’t know, but instead tell a first time poster that his question is dumb.

We are not sure he is a first time poster, the OP may have a long time history, who simply created a new handle for this one specific question about repo of a tractor. Hopefully, he can see that our forum membership believes and encourages responsible actions and behavior. Anyone who has been hospitalized for Covid and is now behind in his loan payments to Kubota, should directly contact Kubota regarding the situation. They will accommodate a restructuring of the payment plan if your honest and forthcoming.

Kubota files UCCs with the county/state where the customer is located. If the tractor is sold and there is still a lien on it then it gets real messy. The buyer stands to loose both the tractor and the money they paid for it.
Wondering if the question is really from a buyer who either bought the tractor or is considering it. Bet Kubota publishes a list of “missing” tractors.

I'm aware of a case whereby an owner declared his tractor stolen but hid it out for 5-6 months and later sold it cheap.
It was very tempting but I would not have slept well had I bought it.
(Was a B21 c/w FEL and backhoe and went for $7K.)
Knowingly receiving stolen goods is just as bad as stealing them.

Whether the buyer of the unit is aware of the mitigating circumstances or not, when Kubota tracks down the unit, they will repo it and that buyer is totally out of the purchase price. Might take time but the 'wheels of law' turn steady

If the can forgive student loans, why not forgive tractor loans. Forgive home loans, forgive car loans. Just saying

Maybe the universities need to have a tractor studies program. Instead of a laptop ya get a tractor.
