We, (our country) seems to always be going through some sudden, dramatic change. It's what we do; and as far as I can tell, it's the way it always has been. Some see progress to hopefully a better day, some see destruction of what was a better day. I doubt it will ever change. Think about it...
No thanks

Out of topic response, but certainly relevant to the comment.

I feel the future chaos too. It's because the newer generation is now impacting the government to make change, and we as the older generation feel uncomfortable with some or possibly many of these specific changes.

I personally don't have high confidence in these younger generations to solve problems. It's documented, during 1950 to 1975 the USA was #2 in world wide Math and Science test scores, with only Germany ahead of American students. By 2019 (pre-pandemic) we had dropped to 78th in math and 91st in Science. Our education system simply does not train students to think and solve problems. Worse yet, their solution to the problem appears to simply stop all standardized testing.

So how can we have confidence in the decisions and solutions made by a large and growing younger generation who are very poor problem solvers and have a history of falsifying date to fit their decision.
This is a large part of what I’m referring to. “Change” isnt always good. I don’t know why that’s so difficult for some to accept?
As far as educating our youth, it’s like the old saying “garbage in-garbage out“.
Anyway, it’s way off topic. Apologies for being off topic and I will leave it at that.

i know what you meant. but do we have to discuss it in every thread?
No, certainly not. I notice a lot of topics go off in other directions and a lot of us take topics off their original premise

This has been an informative thread. Is an auction house like Richie Brothers, Iron Planet, ProxiBid and others responsible for checking untitled tractors for liens before putting them up for auction? I never even considered the possibility of buying something that had a secret lien on it.

I don’t know as I’ve never bought from any of them.

But - I bet the agreement you sign clearly states whether or not the buyer is protected.

Mmm,

I don't see what the final outcome ended up being, Hopefully Tim did get his money back.

My guess would be that the buyer is NOT protected!
