This is a 2106 5055E cab tractor with 12x12 PR transmission with 800+ hours bought at auction that needed a rebuild. I drove this tractor and even loaded it after purchase. I have no previous history for it. When I got it home, it barely had enough compression to crank, but had no lights on the dash at all. I ran it for a few hours, blowby and gurgling oil from the valve cover. Obviously the rings were allowing compression to pass. It didn’t get hot or have any stored codes. The rebuild is done. Upon cranking it after rebuild, it started right up. However, I now have lights and codes. Codes include 102.04 = manifold air pressure sensor low voltage. 105.03 = engine inlet air pressure temp sensor voltage too high. 1569.31 = engine protection. This last one says (internet says) it’s in conjunction with other codes. Lights are STOP, DPF regen says it needs a parked regen as the button is flashing, engine information indicator is on as well. Engine is now derated to 1800 rpm. Again, no lights or codes before the rebuild. Am I now flowing too much exhaust pressure than what the computer was accustomed to reading? Because it’s derated, do I have to involve JD? I know there are some smart guys on here. All of your help is appreciated!

Why are you starting a whole new thread as a duplicate to a previous one? Are you looking for different answers?

I’m not looking for DIFFERENT answers, but I am looking for answers. The reason for the new post is to move it from owning/operating to here. Do you have any answers or are you simply off put by me moving the post?

Previous owner must have been awful abusive in 800hrs
SMH
I hope you bought it really cheap

It has really good everything else, just a bad set of rings. Inside of cab isn’t worn, outside it looks great. The loader bucket hasn’t been used much as there’s still paint in the bucket. When cleaning it, there was a lot of sand. My guess is he used it in a hay field and didn’t know he could buy new filters. Yes, I bought it very reasonably, as in too hard to pass on.

I believe TBN moderators or Admins will move a post to a more appropriate category. Duplicating just adds confusion.
I hope you get your situation resolved

The codes given are for two sensors that are right next to each other. Since codes were not there previous to repairs, my first guess would be harness was damaged since wiring to each run together in harness, or the sensors could have been damaged. one sensor is three pin connector and other one is a 2 pin connector, so no chance of them being reversed. Both are on 5 volt circuit, so you could check each connector with a volt meter to see if input voltage is at 5 volts. Check connectors to be sure no pins have been pushed back and not making contact. I would not think either one of those codes would make it demand a parked regeneration. That is set from exhaust pressures and not intake.
Before taking any voltage readings, make sure you use a high impedance digital meter to prevent any damge to ecu.

Thank you for taking interest in this issue. I found, about two hours ago, that neither of the plugs on the bottom of the manifold were plugged back in. One being the manifold temp sensor and the other the manifold pressure sensor. This was my error entirely. Incidentally, those are on the same wiring harness and same ground as the DPF system. I believe this fault may have been triggered because parameters weren’t met to begin a regen. Tomorrow I plan to clear active codes and see where I am.

Jd110 and anyone else interested, it was because of those two plugs not being plugged in that I had so many codes. Today I cleared all codes and started it up. It warmed up to temp with no lights on the dash. Once temp was reached, it went to asking for a parked regen. After doing the regen, all is well. Thanks again because had I not already caught my mistake, your advice would have led me in the right direction.

I have put 25 hours on it now. Runs great, no codes, no issues at all. A little light in the rear for such a strong loader, but I will overcome that.
