This is a 2106 5055E cab tractor with 12x12 PR transmission with 800+ hours bought at auction that needed a rebuild. I drove this tractor and even loaded it after purchase. I have no previous history for it. When I got it home, it barely had enough compression to crank, but had no lights on the dash at all. I ran it for a few hours, blowby and gurgling oil from the valve cover. Obviously the rings were allowing compression to pass. It didn’t get hot or have any stored codes. The rebuild is done. Upon cranking it after rebuild, it started right up. However, I now have lights and codes. Codes include 102.04 = manifold air pressure sensor low voltage. 105.03 = engine inlet air pressure temp sensor voltage too high. 1569.31 = engine protection. This last one says (internet says) it’s in conjunction with other codes. Lights are STOP, DPF regen says it needs a parked regen as the button is flashing, engine information indicator is on as well. Engine is now derated to 1800 rpm. Again, no lights or codes before the rebuild. Am I now flowing too much exhaust pressure than what the computer was accustomed to reading? Because it’s derated, do I have to involve JD? I know there are some smart guys on here. All of your help is appreciated!
