Looks great. Nice to hear it is all back together. Hope you get to enjoy it a bit before winter sets in, for good. What is your engine break-in routine ?

A friend came over today, and he gave me a hand putting the hood back on, so it's finally completely done, again.
After he left, I pulled the tractors out and then the Nova, and swept out that side of the shop, as there was some Oil-Dri, dirt (I don't know where all the dirt comes from), and leaves that had blown in. It was cold and windy with a few flakes blowing around, about 26°F, and I left the tractors and Nova run while I swept up, I like to let the tractors run for 15 minutes or so every week or so if I don't use them, and I wanted to get the Nova up to operating temp to help break everything in.
As long as he roads are dry, I'll take it for a test drive soon and see how it runs. It has a heater and it's hooked up, so the cold weather isn't a problem.
Now that it's off the jackstands, I need to install the stainless trim on the drip rail, but I still don't know how I'm going to do that, but I have a couple of ideas I need to check out.

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.

There are some cars that just came together in perfection on a particular model year. Your Nova is one of those in my opinion.

No pictures, but I finally got to drive the Nova yesterday for the first time since I installed the engine with the new Dart block. The roads have been wet or it's been pretty cold since I finished it up, but Monday it was in the 40s and the roads were dry, so I took it for a 10 mile drive around the area. I runs great, sounds good, best of all, NO LEAKS!
I hadn't driven it with the windows up before, but I was surprised how quiet it is inside, so all the sound deadener I put in the floor, doors and quarters made a big difference, I'm really glad that I put it in.
Just three remaining items to attend to: install the drip rail trim, install a diode to fix the ignition backfeed from the dome light dimmer, and either get new upper A-arms of mill out the slots in the cross bars to be able to get some adjustment to the caster. The left wheel is at the minimum of the spec, and the right one is 2 degrees more than spec. A couple companies sell A-arms that have cross bars with different available inserts to get the proper caster, but a set of those is in the $700 area. I don't have a mill to do the job, so I may check with a local machine shop to see if they can do it. By my calculations, if my high school trigonometry is correct, the right one needs to be slotted 3/8", and the left one only about 1/4" to get the caster where I want it.

Hope everyone has a great new year, and a prosperous 2025.

Nice job on the restoration!
If you lived near me, I would let you use my mill! However, then I would probably catch a bunch of ribbing from you about "why don't I restore that 66 Chevy" sitting in the garage!

Maybe the rest of us should "rib" sandman to restore his 66 Chevy and document it here. Jon
