This is my first restoration and I have done well so far. However, the engine and the clutch have been installed but the drive shaft is precisely the length between the clutch and the transmission and won't go into the space. The dimensions are very precise and nothing "bends." Any help from a LA expert would be appreciated.
Thanks

Don't know for sure, as I didn't have that shaft out when I owned an LA. But sounds like the engine can't be in place before the drive shaft is in.

But that is the best I can do. Hope you get it figured out and can post some pics of your restoration. Sounds like fun.
