Restoring Cub Cadet 129

It was warm enough yesterday to degrease the frame.And prime the under side of the cub(Too cold to finish the priming today, Just above freezing. /w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif so it will have to stay there for a day or two./w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Here's a pic of the 12 hp engine i got for $100.Took off all the covers to be blasted and painted.To the right is the hydrostatic drive ready for the yellow paint .Had to add ports to it for the hydro lift for the deck and blower.

Well thats as far as I got,I'll be taking more pics as I go along and I'll post them here.(She is going to be for blowing snow,So I have all summer to get her done)/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Looks like your going to have agrand of a time.

The tires in the trailer next to the cub..those tires aren't the cub new sneakers ..are they. /w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif

The cutout I believe is where the IH emblem goes.

Wow - Looks like you're moving right along on that restoration. My first tractor looked amost identical to that machine... sold it for what I paid for it... and wish that I still had it... why is that?

Take a look at this picture. It's a bit beat-up, but I think that an IH logo went in the small square...

Thanks for the info guy's, After closer inspection of my grill you can tell it was where the logo went. (did some more work on her this weekend, have to take some more pics)/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

With some spare parts off of a 149 (basket case) the 129 is now ported for hydro lift.Makes lifting the blower and deck alot easier/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
