Resurrection of a BoxBlade...

First of all, thank you for the vigorous discussion on the death of my box blade a few weeks back. I think I learned more about my tractor and implements in those few days than all my previous postings combined.

Attached is a close up of my fixed blade. It was straightened up and strengthened with some 3/8" plate steel. The picture shows the new piece.

The best part is that the repair was free. My local dealer, Bolton Power Equipement (http://www.boltonpowerequip.com), fixed it free of charge. This included straightening all the metal, welding in the two new plates and repainting it. Can't say enough nice things about Graham. He even threw in a new 3pt. turnbuckle for cost.

Not all dealers are great, I think Graham is though!.

Anyhow he is a regular on the CTOA site and always gives great advice on the import china built tractors, I love my JINMA tractor low cost and one heck of a work horse. I didn't get my tractor form graham but I've refered him to several people some of which I think did get one from him too!?

The Chinese Tractor Owners Association. It's found at http://www.ctoa.net

Up until a couple of weeks ago, it was the primier source for info on chinese tractors, then worldcrossing.com went south during an upgrade disaster.

It has yet to recover, so the CTOA message board is toast, however, there some very good links on the site to other resources.
