I did this project this past fall with the help from my JD955. The project showed the limitations of the #7 hoe which I've had for about 1 year or so, also used the newly build forks with SSQA which I built from Ideas from this site and help from the members, Thank You!!.

All done except for planting some grass and shrubs. I had some pavers from an old sidewalk I replaced a few years back. Laid them down for a nice area in front of the doors

Just throwing this out there, used all natural stone for this wall, and water drainage or run off to keep water off the driveway

Where did you get the blocks?

Wow, why the huge batter? We installed for 8 years and never saw more than a 1/2 inch batter called for on a small wall like that. Although now that I look closer thats not a pin system is it, looks like lipped units? Hmm never used those. Nice job though.

Much better than the old landscape timbers and you built a good foundation for it and the drain pipes behind the wall should go a long way towards keeping the hydrostatic pressure from undoing your hard work.

Pavestone www.pavestone.com uses the lip system and I believe they have different batter angles depending on the block style.
