welcome.

so is it a 4 cyl 2000, or the 3 cyl.

and is it gas or diesel.

are you asking for repair or maintenance tips.. or usage in general? if you have any specific questions, go for it.

ps.. if a 4spd tranny.. and you use it with inertial loads on the pto.. like large rotary mowers.. get an ORC for safety.

I found links in the forums to several sites with guides to help identify Ford tractors but I was never able to correctly decipher these numbers. Here is a picture. Hopefully you know enough to make heads or tales of it. My invitation for advice or tips was just a general admission that I know very little and welcome any information about the tractor readers may think could be useful. Thanks for posting in my other thread about the clutch job. More pictures available there if interested.

that pic cuts off the model id number which is above the date code which is barely readable. with a 6 as the first letter of the date code.. i would think 1966.. it is a B series serial number.. so Basildon england manufacturer.

take a pic of more into the cast area. also.. sometimes on the other side of the housing are more #'s.. have seen that on some OS models. plus there should be a foil tag under the hood with dupe numbers..
