Washer fluid is what I use and is not supposed to corrode rims like maybe water would. Is it possible to switch the rear tires to opposite sides while keeping the tread in the correct direction? This could give you a wider stance depending how there made.

Thanks for the washer fluid suggestion. Do you dilute it, or use it straight?

Re switching sides, the wheel flange is fairly central to the hub so switching sides wouldn't make much difference. Also, I'm not sure I want to put too much extra bending moment on the axles. I'll stick with the 3" spacers.

I just use straight washer fluid. In Ky I have freezing temps in winter though. Rimguard is another option but expensive. It's much heavier than water
