Reverse conversion - PTO chipper to standalone engine drive?

I have a solution! Find a local acreage or farm owner that owns a tractor and could use the service of a chipper and swap use the chipper for use of a tractor when you need it.

In an interesting turn of events, a buddy at work is giving me his standalone chipper, not 3 days after I acquired the troy bilt. And I thought I had this thing sold but now if it doesn't work with a tractor PTO than I'm not sure what to do. Not sure how many people out there with an old Troy Bilt Horse are looking for the long lost chipper attachment! I suppose I'll have this thing in my garage for a while.

If this is it than it will not work on a tractor PTO, but i see them on E-bay for $400 so sell it and get what you need.

Yup, nearly identical. Mine is a model 47026. I'll try ebay and see how it goes. I appreciate the help!
