Tires reverse wheels?

Yep got two people and three if I need it. Also have a trolley hoist that can be utilized. I am all about letting something mechanical do the work if at all possible.

only reason I mentioned swapping sides is it is sometimes just easier to manhandle the center and rim assembled then all the disassembly. all depends on how it is already assembled as to what you will get.

too bad they are not power adjust..

how do you like the cvt tranny i have the 3050 and hate it, i think i may need to adjust something but as it is now when i press on the pedal to go forward it second or third gear it drowns itself and has no power. rpms drop and it tried to go forward i have to left off pedal and baby it just to drive it. i need help my local dealer is a joke.

I have the same problem and as I said in the other post. My dealer hasn't seen a CVT until I ordered this one. So they also are a joke. Did you try that calibration sequence that was in the other post? I haven't been around my tractor for a couple weeks so haven't had a chance to try it.

Well we turned the inner wheels today. A jack, jack stands, engine hoist and about 3 hours we had it complete. Man those bolts were tight. I gained about 10 inches of width on the tractor. Plenty of room for the chains. Don't have to worry about the chains taking out the plastice fenders. Now it is wider than mean 72" blower though so hope that won't be a problem.

I know you don't want to bother with another adjustment, but if you see you must change it, you can adjust the wheel width again by choosing which side of the outer ring bracket you mount the inner ring on. If it is on the inside, then you move it to the outside and trim about 5" off your width or whatever the bracket width is x 2. See attachment. However, you do have to reverse the head of the carriage bolt so it comes through from the back of the wheel with the nut on the outside.

We did look at that when we had the wheel apart and decided to put the inner wheel on the outside of the outer wheel. The other way would have been even wider and I don't think I needed that.

Jinman, one quick question. I just bought a used (like new) Kubota 3010 in Florida. When I checked the tire pressures the Left rear has water up to the 10 o'clock/2 o'clock level. the Right has no water. I'm taking this tractor to Virginia (freeze) Am I best advised to remove water from the left or add antifreeze to it and water the right as well? AND...that seems like too much water to me...?? I WILL be relocating the wheel plates to widen the stance.....it's hilly up there. thanks

Here's a chart for tire volumes. Fill them to 75% full (level with valve at 12 oclock). You might get a price on rimguard liquid, it's heavier than water.

rv antifreeze is cheap this time of year.. 5$ a gallon. that's what I added to my monster 16.9-24's with some water.. just enough mix to prevent solid freeze.. slushy is ok.
