Very good point! Never thought of that.
On another note, I already had a scare earlier this year when my lugnuts on my truck came loose even though I tightened them to spec.
Go to find out the tapering on them was distorted because of wear and tear. They got over 200k and probably have been taken off and put back on over 100x and beat to well... crap.
After that happened, I ordered up a new set for all 4 corners. Don't need to have my wheels flying off doing 65 on the interstate...
So yes, that is another good suggestion!
