You don't need to spend a lot of money to get a good bead on aluminum. There are a lot of $1k Millers that work just fine. This is an aluminum tube I welded to 1" plate, with a miller that is around 15 years old.

It is your money so spend it how you like but you can get good results for far less cash.

These two welds were with an old Lincoln 225 squawave, where the two tubes are welded to the nut would look better if the plating were sanded off the nut before welding.

I'm no Tig weldor by any stretch of the imagination! Especially with aluminum:ashamed:! But here is what a Dynasty can do with aluminum, and a rookie holding the torch.

You might try playing with the settings on your camera. Look for a setting called 'white balance'.
Should have several presets for different kinds of lighting.
