I got mine back in and functioning. Needs a little more adjusting for my preference.
In general this is what I found on mine,
The nuts on the bolt that actuates the PTO have to be jamb nuts which are smaller. If not then there is contact between the nuts and the bell housing before you have enough travel to make the adjustments needed.
The tightness of the nuts determines the distance between drive release, and PTO release. The tighter these nuts are, the closer together the release of the two will be.
The set screw adjustment at the front of the arm, in combination with the external adjustment determine when it all begins to release.
Hope this helps. I tightened the nuts just finger tight, and there is a lot of distance between the two disengagements. And my drive clutch disengages at the top of the travel. So I am going to tighten the nuts a little and lower the fingers from the TO bearing just a little more pedal before contact of the TO bearing to the fingers, and it should be just how I want it.
