I'm looking for my first box blade, and a HB84 is available. Its 1250lbs! If it was a regular 600lb 7' blade I think most folks here would say it would be fine for my tractor but this boxblade is much heavier. I've got a hyd top link so I assume I can control the bite of this HD boxblade easily? Or am I going to be always be adjusting the blade just to keep it from stopping my tractor all the time?
I've got a second remote to run the scarifiers as well so it would be a nice setup if my tractor can pull it and I've some real road building jobs to do as well.
The fellow that has it now ran it behind an L4310 but just used it to smooth out a driveway.

Your DK40 will handle it, would be better if it was only 6' wide, but if the price is right, pretty hard to go wrong. Remember that weight is your friend when it comes to grading. After you get the box, then you need to get a 3rd remote and a hydraulic side link. ;)
