I'm looking at buying a rhino TS12 to replace a Woods 208 that wore out. I'll be pulling it with a Ford 5610, will I have any issues powering it?. Mostly I'll be cutting grass and weeds but some brush. I was wondering if I would be better off with a John Deere HX10. I can get a lightly used HX10 for a steal. I would have an easier time powering it too.

Rhino list
No stump jumper
Deck 12 ga
HP required 35-60 pto
Tow weight 2750
Blade overlap 6 inch
gear box 65 and 165 hp

HX10 list
Deck 10 ga
stump jumper
Hp 50 min pto
weight 2328
blade overlap 2.8 inch
Gear box 120 and 180 hp

The HX is built heavier, and add it all up a good used HX would beat the Rhino. Transport width could be an issue if you take it on the road

I would go with the HX... it痴 a tough mower. I own 1 and it痴 seen a lot of heavy mowing. Brush up to 3-4 trees along with heavy filth and grass. I pull it with Kubota m7060 & jd 5115m ... it has taken everything I give it and more. As stated earlier transport can be a problem if roading..
