Ridding deck of wasps!

same here with the name dirt dauber / mud dauber, vs a peper wasp.. vs a hornet. ie.. bigger looking wasp.. et.c

Here we call ones that make a mud nest "mud daubers" or "dirt daubers" and they don't usually sting. The ones we call wasps make a paper nest with lots of cells and furiously attack when provoked. Photo is a wasp nest.

Ok...I got it. When I was growing up their used to be something called a "blue-wasp" that were nasty. In the past 40+ years though I haven't seen one in the north. Not bragging because we have more than our share of the yellow jackets and ground hornets.
