Out here the deer eat the poison oak. A natural herbicide. They do a pretty good job of it except the sides of the ravine, where it is thick.

Do a google search for "Smilax Rotundifolia" and you will see tons of info on greenbrier. I spelled it wrong in my last post, so that may have caused you problems finding it. I think you pretty well described it anyhow, so you are probably looking at the right stuff. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Thank you Jinman! I've got that stuff here and there and it is a real nuisance. Had a thicket of it shorting out a fence that has a 11,000 volt charger on it. I have not sprayed any lately but I do have some MSMA that will be used after we bush hog. I have been trying to identify that stuff for a long time. Rotundifolia is just one variety. I think I have seen several.
