They changed filter size a few years ago and mine required an adapter. I called Ridgid and they answered right away. I had the adapter for free that week in the mail. Make sure you register your tools or you will not get the Ridgid lifetime warranty. All of my hand held power tools are Ridgid. They get a lot of use and I have not had any problems.
And...
If you do happen to get batteries, chargers, drills etc etc replaced under Lifetime Warranty make sure that you;
Register the new units under the warranty!!
Recently brought batteries in for replacement and repair guy couldn't find them in the system.
He asked me if they had ever been replaced-yes
He then asked if I had registered the new batteries...Uh didn't know I had to!!
Previous local repair guy was disgruntled and wouldn't tell this important tidbit of info.
Will call RIGID 1-800 and see what happens.
Will report back.
