Sorry for the delayed reply guys
(long week)
Thcri, I thought about the rearranging on the trailer. I'll give it a try and see how it fits and feels.
jinman, I think your weight estimates are right on. But I did load my tires (myself) so I am maxxed out at the axle ratings. That's why I'm paying close attention to weight distribution. And you are also correct that good tires and pressure are critical when carrying that load.
joes 427,
Yea, the truck just purs at that load. Not much of a challenge for 560 lbs of tourque. But still a nice tug on the bumper if you don't stay nice and smooth. Hope the backwards thing works good so that loader doesn't threaten the nice paint job on the tailgate. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Fordtruckman,
I live in Manvel and I'm building on my property back behind Alvin, off CR 1462. But I do make it to the Lake Jackson area often. Our best friends are building in the BAR S ranch area off 35 (heading towards West Columbia). They are using my 231S MF I have to get their chores done. Checked up on them yesterday and they had some wild tales about alligators! The 231 was real muddy too. Needed a bath. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
Hope you get your "blue thing" soon. I haven't got to spend as much time on mine as I would like, but those couple of hours I was on it were the best "tractor hours" I've ever had. Really nice machine! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Thanks for all the advice, comments, and nice compliments fellas.
