Rigging out a ToolBox

Could not get a very heavy 5' long toolbox out of the cottage basement.
Decided to build a ramp, attached a chain to the Toolcat and backed up.
Everything worked as hoped.
Good thing the basement stair aligns with the front door.

Normally, the drawers in the box have tabs on each side so you can remove them. The box would weigh much less without them too. Good job on getting the box out though. I helped the neighbor get his heavy old boiler out of his basement....it didn't have those nice rollers on the bottom...grr.

Way to go!!! Just be careful when you run it back down into the basement. Don't let it get away from you or, worse yet, run over your foot.

Yeah, my friend tried to get a big old cast iron safe out of a basement. It didn't go too good and he ended up with a broken leg.....and it ended up to be quite expensive with medical bills and loss of work.

Way to go!!! Just be careful when you run it back down into the basement. Don't let it get away from you or, worse yet, run over your foot.

Putting the cottage up for sale and moving out the clutter. My wife calls it consolidation...
