I have a ford 420 backhoe. I have issues loading it as it wants to drag as I drive up the trailer. I am thinking of replacing the rims and tires to get a little more ground clearance. Has anyone else had this issue or done this? I am looking for suggestions on what size rims and tires I can go with? Is there any reputable online dealers as I live fairly remote and will have to have shipped to my house? What bolt pattern do I need? I am wanting to go back with R4tires. Thanks in advance for any help. Right now I have 16.9x24 on the rear and 9.00x16 on the front.

looks to be only made with a 2WD, and all options = geared transmission for it.

i think you would be cheaper off buying longer ramps for trailer. those tires can cost a few thousand bucks each, and that is tire alone not counting rim.

TIPS / TRICKS for tires help ya find local dealers.

Document Moved = ford/newholland online part manuals. but i am guessing you are looking more 3rd party setup.

would say contact local dealers, they might have a taller / larger diameter tire. that might fit your rims. *shrugs* never hurts calling around and asking.
