I thought about getting one since I have a ratchet rack and like it. However, the concern I have with the RIP/DIG is that the front of the tractor and the FEL would block the view so it would be difficult to do accurate work.

Viewing is not real easy but soon you get your eye and hand coordination worked out and you know where the tip is even if you dont see it. A little like when you were a teenager learning to drive with that loooong hood out front. Where's the end of the car. Not exactly but similar. That and for what I did being off an inch or two didnt matter until I got close to the barn and the fence.
