Rising steel prices!! Are tractor prices next?

I guess I need to thank my dealer, he insisted that I needed to order my new tractor before the end of January. So I got a fixed price on my 6220 JD. For once I might have come out to the good. Of course, the tractor is not here yet, delivery date is April 29. jjj

I have yet to see any price increases on tractors, however many of the companies that make implements are putting on surcharges that they say will be dropped once prices stabilize. On most equipment the surcharge is 3-5%.

Same here... we are seeing surcharges for 2.5 - 8% depending on company. They say the should go down, and i don't see why they wouldn't, as its just a surcharge.

yea,just like the income tax here in CT-it was only for a couple of years to help the state with its finance woes.....Well the state still has finance woes,big ones, and the tax and never going away !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
