RK Customer Service help/suggestions.

I think I would be visiting a TYM dealership to discuss parts and possible needed service. I wouldn't wait until I needed those things. I'd secure a source now.

Is the warranty for RK tractors with TYM or RK?

RK seems to have jumped into the retail market with deep pockets. Builds pretty stores. But I don't think that cuts the mustard in tractor sales where knowledge and support needs are much greater than what one can get from generic disposable retail store employees. The tractor/automobile/motorsport staff needs to have "ownership" of their jobs to have the pride to learn what they need to know and how to serve the customer. It can't come from a sales manual written by overpaid Madison Avenue Executives.

Is the warranty for RK tractors with TYM or RK?

The warranty for RK tractors is apparently with RK.
TYM advertises a 6 year warranty.
RK advertises an 8yr./3000 hr. power train warranty.

Wether RK stays in the tractor business or not is certainly out of my control, what I could control was getting the most equipment for my dollar as is possible which is exactly why I chose RK, when I looked around my area the real choices that were reasonably close to me were Kubota and RK with JD being further away than I would like and RK gave me the most for my money from a parent company that has decades of tractor building experience and a good reputation for quality.
I was aware when I purchased my RK that they were quite new in the tractor area and decided that I will learn what I can to work on my tractor rather than relying on a dealer, should work that I am unable to perform become necessary I will see how it goes and do what I must to get it done.
