Not sure where you are taking that tractor for service ...

The RK in Gainesville is only about 56 miles (one way) and the one in Ocala is about 57 miles (one way)

Not sure which of these options would be the easiest drive ... they both have a bit of "2 lane" road and there will be traffic either way.

If you don't already know, the RK in Gainesville is in the old Sam's Club location on 13th St (kind of across from Lowes)

The RK in Ocala is on US 27 (Blitchton Rd - 10th St) a short distance beyond I75 - they are just past B&M Rental across from Southern Comfort Mobile Homes

The one in Crystal River is only about 57 miles (one way) and is basically a straight shot down US 98 and the only place you'd hit traffic is in Chiefland ... and 98 is 4 lanes all the way down.

RK sells a trailer - $5000. So do you have the truck to haul it with? The wife's minivan won't do.

I've done all the required maintenance on my Kubota M6040. Read your OP manual - take your time - not that big a deal.

I recommend doing the service yourself if your even modestly mechanical. Good way to get to know your tractor.
Trailers are great. I have several. Don't buy one just barely big enough. You want room on the bed to position the tractor (and implement in the future) to get the trailer tongue weight correct. Tow vehicle will make a difference in selection also.

do it yourself. in fact you should be ready and equipped to do all your services.

So my RK Tractor rep hemmed and hawed but then said that each tire gets 83 gallons - the label on the tire says RimGuard.
Another time he mentioned that each tire weighs 800 lbs.
Based on the chart below, if you believe that each tire holds a bathtub of liquid volume, You either have 1776 lbs. added to the weight of the tractor and implements. If the tub is distributed across 2 tires then around 900 lbs. is added. I think it's a bathtub per R4 / R14 rear tire but maybe someone else can do the volume math. (The new RK measuring standard is going to be in bathtubs.)

Did they include oil/gas/coolant fluids in the stated weight of the tractor and attachments?

I don't fully trust their numbers. The web site says the bucket size is 61". No Options listed. My rep asked if I wanted the 66 or the 72 inch bucket. I chose 66" (reduce spill with short pickup bed loading). I measured and the bucket on the tractor waiting for me is 66" on the outside.

I don't think they will hold 83 gallons each. The tires on a RK37 aren't big enough to hold that much. 83 gallons total more likely, roughly 40 gallons a tire is the most I think you could put in there to cover the rim and leave an air pocket in the tire.

THis post was a couple of years old. I dont think it was ever concluded what the OP did, whether he got his trailer or did his own service. I think Y'all scared him off

Get the weights from your operator manual. Also learn what service is needed at 50 hours and how to do it.

I didnt want to buy a trailer for mine either, as I will never normally use one. I called a wrecker service, and they brought out a flatbed and moved my tractor like nothing. It wasnt that expensive, but I dont live over a 100 miles from my store.
