Please fellows; have a little pity on "The Tourist" . Remember as soon as you leave your own area you become a " Tourist ".

You didn't have to be so over protective of that deer. I'm sure those nice people from Massachusetts would have been happy to hit their own dinner. /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

Eight years ago, Just outside of Anchorage, Ak I had the misfortune to meet up with Bullwinkle, on a dark road. He left me with no choice but take him home. As he had fallen acrross the hood and part way through the windsheild

You are one lucky man. Usually Bullwinkle comes right in and sits on your lap.

Pete:
Just think of a Texan. If he comes from Huston is he a tourist in lufkin?
Or an Alaskan. If he lives in Nome is he a tourist in Tenakee Springs?
How far do you got to travel to be a tourist???

My son hit a doe last year...........when the sheriff came out to the house to take the "accident report" he asked if we wanted it. We said "sure why not?" (thinking of some nice meals). He left and 30 mins later returned empty handed. He couldn't find it, it must have hobbled away. Sad thing was, it was laying in the ditch the next morning when I went to work, all 4 legs broken.........too late.

It doesn't get much more convenient than that! /w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif

A friend of ours ran into Bullwinkle last year while driving her RAV4 thru Maine. The cable attaching the bow of her kayak to the front bumper removed his head, which came thru the windshield and landed in the passenger seat. The body slid down the driver's side and pretty much destroyed the little car. As she was sitting in shock at the side of the road, brushing the blood and glass out of her face, two guys in a tow truck pulled up. After making sure she was okay, they hoisted the remains onto the back of the tow and left. Never even bothered calling help for her!

As Ruth told us, "They looked really poor and really hungry!"

Wow! Thank God I suscribe to TBN. Otherwise I might have stopped in Vermont to check on the welfare of someone on the side of the road. Thank God I can now save myself from that embarassment.
