Posted this in Safety forum, but realized that forum is mostly stories about "already happened " issue. Thought I 'd try here. I just got finished building a deck and back wall on a KK carryall. I didn 't notice 'till I finished that in raised position my tail lights and flasher lights are covered up. Also SMV sign on back of seat is partially covered. I live in Louisiana. I don 't do ,much public road driving at all and when I do its only a 1/4 mile or so. I wonder if I can travel legal on public road with just a visible SMV sign on carryall.

I would get a smv sign in a place where it is seen easily in whole not partially.
Curious where in South Louisiana?

I think that area is pretty conjested so I would recomend the lights be visible. Can you carry the whole platform lower so that the lights are visble?

I am a native of New Orleans.

I believe that your greatest concern is the flashers not being visible. That is what people will see first from far away.

Of course, even with armed military guards around your tractor, while your on the road, and people will still do stupid things when trying to pass you.

Good to chat with a fellow N. O. native ! I grew up in Old Metry. Not too congested where I d's be drivin' as I live in the woods with the other squirrels ! But the Northshore has gotten crazy with traffic since that last weather event.

Agreed. I 'm looking into a separate battery pack flasher system to put on carryall.
