Road privacy shrubs & cutting white pines?

In my neck of the woods Asian Honeysuckle will take over if you blink or turn your back for a few seconds. It's great for privacy but unfortunately is invasive. I let it take over one property line of our previous house but there are more desirable species growing naturally at our new place so I'm killing all the Asian Honeysuckle I come across.

I may get hate on this; and it may not be available (band in some places), but Russian Olive is a fantastic privacy screen, that grows fast, dense, and when shaped/trimmed, is an attractive shrub. In addition, its great for turkeys/deer with the edible berries.

Based on my homeplace not far from here I would never plant bamboo, honeysuckle, kudzu, multifloral roses, privit, trumpet vine, etc. I'm always fighting poison ivy & sumac, paradise trees & privit.
Growing up my Grandmother next door loved gardening & said the only way to get rid of so many invasive plants is to die and leave it!

Because I have many hundreds of those spiky plants growing here and they spread almost as fast as firebush, honeysuckle and multiflora rose.

Those thorns hurt and deer don't eat the leaves.

They are a nice looking plant, and they grow fast, sometimes a few feet in a month.

Yes, same thing. The "berries" are pretty well liked by turkeys, crows, and deer.

I have gone eco-friendly around here. Let some acreage go back to Mother Nature. It is filled with non-native plants. The Olive and Pear variety/species seem to be the majority of what is coming up now.

Looking more for a winter privacy that won't spread or get above 10' tall in two places, about 100' long each.

Maybe Boxwoods?? I have a few that we relocated, not trimmed they have stayed "short" and filled out immensely.

That would work, but wife is not a fan and the deer do seem to chew on them sometimes, though really don't eat them.

We have a huge boxwood in front yard. A landscaper friend said it must be old they grow 1/2"/year.

Mrs.tiller planted a boxwood about 25 years ago beside the front door of the house. She thought it was cute at the store.

I read the tag on it. It said it would grow up to 3' tall. I didn't want a tree to collect snow near the door so I transplanted it....I won that argument.

Now the boxwood is over 6' tall and wide.
