That Samurai cutter looks pretty neat. If that doesn't solve your ditch problem...try C4 platic explosive. That will blow the weeds to kingdom come....or make the ditch deep enough that sunlight will not be able to reach it, so them thar weeds don't grow and bother you in the future...

I have a similar issue in trimming overhanging branches and shrubs on trails. The Samuri is a good idea, but I think a chain saw type would be better than a sickle bar. Does anyone know of a chain saw type attachment that would clamp onto a loader bucket?
